The Intent
What it set out to prove
A study in restraint. We wanted to see how little a frame can contain and still hold attention – where gold stops needing contrast to read as precious, and starts needing quiet.
The Approach
How it was built
Raw linen, unglazed ceramic and northern daylight, nothing added. One light source, no fill, no reflector. The shadow is left long and soft because it is the only event in the composition. Every surface in frame shares a temperature, so the metal is the single warm thing present.
